The renowned designer put his unique spin on two of Palladium’s men’s silhouettes which launched last night at Odin New York with a plaster and mirrored masterpiece. The installation which appears as a Black and White cube plopped in the flagship Odin shop at 199 Lafayette between Kenmare and Broome. Is not all that it appears to be from the outside. Inside the cube floor to waist height is white, a Snarkitecture signiture. From the waist up the walls and ceilings are mirrored. Front and center are plaster version of each boot reflecting actual boots Chai designed for the heritage brand. The mirrors create a sense of infinity which ensconces the shopper making it hard to resist leaving without making a purchase or two!
